The principle of magnetic separator is that materials with different magnetic properties are separated by using a magnetic force. When a material is placed in a magnetic field, the non-magnetic particles are unaffected while the magnetic particles are attracted to the magnet and are removed from the mixture. This process is repeated until all of the desired components have been separated.
